"I absolutely enjoyed this restaurant! The venue, ambiance, service, food and presentation were all amazing! Our server was so very entertaining and was half the experience. We enjoyed the asparagus, fish platter, the LAMB, steak, and cocktails! Everything was just pleasant and the noise level in the area was pretty quiet. And we ended the meal some classic Apfelstrudel! I can't wait to come back to Munich and experience this fine restaurant again!"

"An address that you can easily recommand. Elegant restaurant with bar and cake options. The service is perfect: friendly, subtle but thoughtful. The advice and the cocktails itself are nice. Food portions are not huge but it is deligate and you want to taste all courses from starter to dessert. It the right place for a business lunch as we well as a special dinner. Besides this the cake looks so good that you should consider to come for a coffee too."

"What a surprise to truly enjoy fine dining and excellent qualiy food including the BEST apple strudel I had ever tasted. All four of us had a wonderful dining experience.We had very good service with a casual modern ambiance. I highly recommend this restaurant. We will be there again."

"Restaurant Schapeau really isn’t a restaurant any more. It’s a bar that serves light snacks, including wraps, desserts, etc. That said, it’s a good place! Isabella was our bartender/waitress, and she was such a delight! She gave us a great recommendation for a spot for dinner nearby as it was raining hard. When we returned to the hotel we stopped in the bar for a nightcap and dessert. The drinks were great… a dessert was good. Service was good too. A nice little bar spot in a nice hot just a few minutes walk from Old Town. Recommend Restaurant Schapeau for a drink and dessert in a warm and inviting atmosphere!"

"Very enthusiastic staff and a lovely ambiance Menu changed over the last year to a much more vegetarian friendly one. Next to a road fairly busy at night so expect to hear music/crowds while you eat"
